Gast Air Motor is compact and portable & variable operating speed and power output that can be adjusted to meet the precise needs of your application. The air throttling and pressure control is not only cost effective over electric motor controls, but they also can be stalled or overloaded for long periods without damaging the motor. Gast Air motor can vary speed between 300 and 10,000 rpm (depending on model) with a simple valve put in between the air source and air motor.
In addition to being a non-electrical device and cool running, Gast air motors are ideal for use in hazardous and extreme ambient temperature locations. As the air motor turns, expanded air-cools the motor. Units can be used in ambient temperatures up to 250 °F (120 °C) in a non-hazardous atmosphere. To ensure long life, Gast offers accessories designed to extend unit life including air filters and airline lubricators that supply a constant flow of lubrication automatically.
Mounting Option:
Available in a hub option, Gast air motors can operate in any position offering you a great degree of flexibility when mounting the air motor or integrating into an OEM system.
Product Marking:
This product is Marked: II 2 G D c T4 (+1 ℃<Ta<+40 ℃). According to the EU Directive 2014/34/EU, Annex VIII, Gast air motors may be used where explosive atmospheres of gas or dust are likely to occur.
