We are the manufacturer of Hydraulic power packs (Hydraulic power unit) for various applications like industrial, Mobile hydraulics, and Marine applications. A hydraulic power pack generally includes an electric motor, hydraulic pump, and hydraulic valves with all hydraulic components with necessary accessories. While the hydraulic power pack begins operations, the pump pulls hydraulic fluid out of the tanks and it being pressurized flows through the pressure relief valve.
A hydraulic power unit employs enclosed fluid to transfer energy from one source to another source and frequently creates rotary motion, linear motion, or force. The power pack provides the power needed for this transfer of fluid.

This hydraulic power unit uses a standard range of modular components for easy specification, assembly and maintenance in the most demanding industrial applications. With motors up to 30 kW, flow rates to 100 Litres/minute, tank capacities to 180 litres and pressure capability to 250 bar, we can offer a hydraulic power unit system to meet most industrial requirements including:

AC Power Pack
We manufacture and supply Hydraulic power pack with 1ph & 3ph packs to 30LPM and 250 bar. AC Mini Hydraulic Power packs for Scissor lifts, Car lifts, Dock Levellers and Security barriers etc… Built to order from stock parts for fast delivery.
DC Power Pack
We manufacture and supply 12VDC and 24VDC Motors with the option of single or double acting valves.
Common applications include:- Tailifts, Tipper Trucks and Trailers, Industrial Lifts & Stackers.
Unit options and specs
The hydraulic power unit components have been carefully selected by Hydra products to give an economic solution from our large stocks. As we construct units for many industrial applications we have an ever-growing component base and can cater to the majority of builds.
The units cater for a selection of tanks ranging from 16-180 liters and pressures up to 250 bar, with flow rates of up to 100 liters/minute.
The AC motors within the units are all IP55 as standard and multi-mount B35 configuration. Motor options such as Anti-condensation heaters and Ex protection are possible so please remember to enquire about these when you spec up your unit.
Wide range of applications covered
Our standard power units are suitable for a wide range of applications; one of these being the marine-based Launch Recovery System. This system is equipped with an umbilical winch which has to be able to accommodate the whole length and diameter of the remotely operated vehicle umbilical. Our hydraulic power units power the hydraulic winch motor that, in turn, controls the winch itself which is responsible for pulling in the remotely operated vehicle (ROV).
Product testing and oil filtration
We are one of the few companies producing hydraulic power units that fully test our units on testing rigs before dispatch, ensuring power and voltages are correct. We also carry out regular oil filtration tests to ensure that particulate contamination is avoided.
These test stages make sure that our units reach our customers in optimal working order and help to lengthen the operational life of our products.
Conforming to European standards
Power unit pumps are based on European standard 1:8 taper 4 bolt gear pumps from Groups 1,2 and 3. Low pulsation gears give a quiet and smooth flow. Group 2 and 3 pumps have cast iron flanges for extra strength.
All power units have 90-micron suction filters and 25-micron return filters as standard. Pressure filters to 3microns are optional and give our power units high cleanliness levels.
Hydraulic power unit suppliers offer a hydraulic circuit and parts list, Hydra products offer this as well as a full installation and maintenance manual. Each power unit is supplied with a test certificate and CE approval documentation.
Bespoke design options
Where the hydraulic power unit (HPU) does not offer all the hydraulic features required, we can design and manufacture a full hydraulic power unit system using our proven CAD design software and renowned technical expertise.
We hold a vast library of modular parts which can be used to populate 3D solid unit models making the customisation process easy and enables us to standardise designs, leading to a quick turnaround of customised units. This gives our end user a solid, dependable unit with the Hydraproducts stamp of approval.
Micro Power Pack
Uni-directional
Delivering up to 5LPM with only an 87mm square body – Uni-directional Power pack – for single acting actuators. Used for disabled lifts, brakes, clutches and clamping
Era actuator kits
Direct mounting to cylinders. A reversible power pack and a mounting kit for complete actuator manufacturing.
Reversible
Unique double acting circuit without using solenoid valves. HPR Reversible Power pack -for double acting actuators and motors with built in pilot check valves.
The micro hydraulic power pack is very compact and can operate both single acting (HPU) and double acting (HPR) applications.
The HPR micro hydraulic power unit offers the flexibility to operate double acting hydraulic functions without the need for solenoid control valves. By simply reversing the motor the movement of a double acting hydraulic cylinder direction can be controlled and the built in dual Pilot Check Valves give leak free load holding. Dual pressure relief valves give separate control in each direction whilst dual pilot check valves prevent induced pressures and noise when excess full bore cylinder flow returns to the tank. Variations in the circuit can include manual overrides, motor spool control and low noise relief valves.

- The HPU micro power pack has a single acting hydraulic circuit, the check valve and solenoid valve hold the cylinder load up. A high quality hardened steel check valve insert ensures low leakage and excellent load holding. Versions with Normally open/closed solenoid check valves and low noise check valves are available.
- All of these micro hydraulic power packs have a precision engineered aluminium manifold that houses the hardened steel valves. A carefully developed micro hydraulic pump gives pressures up to 200bar. Each manifold has an integrated 90 micron filter element, ensuring all micro hydraulic systems are protected and give a long service life.
- To drive the hydraulic pumps we offer DC motors from 150 to 800Watt, in 12V and 24VDC. 150 and 250Watt Fractional Horsepower AC motors as well as standard IEC frame AC motors from 0.18kW to 0.37kW.
- Pump sizes range from 0.17cc to 1.48cc/rev.
- Tanks from 0.1 to 1 Litre, all of which can be in vertical (tank uppermost) or horizontal orientation.
